When in Chicago right! Luke Combs played tourist at one of Chicago’s most iconic attractions, the Skydeck at Willis Tower before playing a set at this week's Lollapalooza. Known for his powerhouse vocals and relatable charm, Combs showed fans a different side of himself as he faced the glass-floored ledge more with humor than bravery.

“I’m so excited to not go on that,” Combs declared with a laugh, as friends and crew egged him on. “Get a picture of me not going in it. How about that?”
The country superstar, who has never shied away from keeping things real with his fans, joked that he’d much rather have “an encounter with a grizzly bear” than step onto the clear glass 103 stories above the city streets.
His crew teased him for missing out on the experience, but Combs held his ground with a grin. “Never once have I been like, oh, I’m not doing it. Never one time. You know why? It’s not going to happen. Just watch.”
The good-natured standoff had everyone laughing, proving that Combs’ quick wit is just as strong as his chart-topping vocals. Even without stepping foot on the Skydeck, the superstar gave fans yet another reason to love his down-to-earth personality.
Chicago will get to see a braver Combs tonight as he headlines his Lollapalooza set, but one thing is clear. When it comes to glass floors and 1,353-foot drops, Luke Combs is keeping his boots firmly planted on solid ground.
